Course Description:
This course ranges from 24 to 32 hours and provides the participant the unique requirements of shipping mixed waste according to 10, 40 and 49 CFR. This course provides waste identification, material classification and all the necessary communication requirements that are unique to shipping mixed waste. This course also identifies how the regulations do not specifically address the needs of shipping mixed waste and the contradictions that occur when shipping a mixed waste versus a hazardous waste or low-level radioactive waste.
