hazardous waste workers conducting environmental restoration activities.
Course Description:
This course provides the 40-hour safety training requirement mandated by OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120. Workers attending this course will cover health and safety procedures, and personnel protection during work operations at hazardous waste sites. The course includes approximately 24 hours of academic training and 16 hours of hands-on training among several practical exercises. Certification is from The University of Tennessee, Energy, Environment and Resource Center.
