Course Description:
This course provides the 8 hours of annual training required by OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120. Workers attending this course will cover health and safety procedures, and personnel protection during work operations at hazardous waste sites. The course provides participants an opportunity to maintain skills and knowledge about protecting the health and safety of personnel working with hazardous wastes and operations on a hazardous waste site. Certification is from The University of Tennessee, Energy, Environment and Resource Center. Instructors are available at all times by e-mail, telephone and pager.
