TFE, Inc. has been providing training to Bechtel Jacobs and their subcontractors in Oak Ridge, Portsmouth and Paducah since 1999.

Mobile Equipment | HAZWOPER | Asbestos | Sampling

HAZWOPER – 40 Hour 

This course provides the 40 hour safety training requirement mandated by OSHA 29 CFR1910.20. Workers attending this course will cover health and safety procedures, and personnel protection during work operations at hazardous waste sites. 

HAZWOPER – 16 Hour Upgrade 

This course upgrades those 24 hour certified students to 40 Hour HAZWOPER requirements, mandated by OSHA 29 CFR1910.120. Workers attending this course will cover health and safety procedures, and personnel protection during work operations at hazardous waste sites.

HAZWOPER – Annual Refresher (8 hr) 

This course provides the 8 hours of annual training required by OSHA 29 CFR1910.120. Workers attending this course will cover health and safety procedures, and personnel protection during work operations at hazardous waste sites.

HAZWOPER – Supervisor (8 hr) 

This course provides the 8 hours of additional training for supervisors/managers of hazardous waste operations workers as required by 29 CFR 1910.120 (e)(4), Management and Supervisor Training.

24 and 40 HOUR HAZWOPER ON THE WEB    NEW!

This 40-hour online course meets OSHA/EPA training requirements.  Certification is from The University of Tennessee, Energy, Environment and Resources Center.  The course is self-paced and can be worked on according to your schedule.  32 hours of instruction are completed online with 8 hours of additional hands-on training conducted at University facilities or at your site.  24 –hour Hazwoper certification is available by completion of the 32 hours of online instruction and successful completion of the final exam.  Instructors are available at all times by e-mail, telephone and pager.  This course is especially appreciated by busy managers and professionals.

HAZWOPER 40 Hours

This Internet-based course is a self-paced, open entry, open exit, waste site worker course that meets all the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.120,OSHA’s Hazardous Waste Site Worker and Emergency Response Standard. The course consists of an online text, interactive exercises, web links, self-grading quizzes, and final exam. There are two days of face-to face training to complete the 40-hours for Hazwoper Certification or as a stand-alone course to enhance your skills. Topics include exercises on PPE, Regulations, Site Characterization, Confined Space, Decon, etc.

HAZWOPER REFRESHER 8 Hours

This Internet-based course provides six hours of interactive training online and a two-hour hands-on lab for the annual refresher to the 40-hour HAZARDOUS WASTESITE WORKER course (29 CFR 1910.120). This course fulfills the requirement for both workers and supervisors.

MODERATE RISK 24 Hours

This Internet-based course provides 22 hours of interactive training online and a two-hour hands-on lab for those needing Moderate Risk certification (29 CFR 1910.120). The course consists of an online text, interactive exercises, web links, self-grading quizzes, and final exam.
