POSITION TITLE:      P&CE Waste Tracking (Process Software Database Engineer)

Process & Control Engineering    

DUTIES:

Provide software engineering services for the Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS) Process Software Engineering group to perform development and maintenance for SRNS waste tracking operations.  Duties will include developing applications for Microsoft Access, or Oracle, or VB.NET and working with other Process Software Engineering personnel.  Services will also entail developing documentation and defining and executing test plans.

Candidate must be able to work in a team environment.

Services will be provided using SRNS processes and procedures.  Programmatic guidance will be provided by SRNS.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

BS Degree in Computer Engineering or Science or an Engineering/Science discipline with software development emphasis or an Associate Degree in Engineering or Science discipline with equivalent experiences

Experience /Skills:

Candidate must demonstrate a minimum of three (3) years experience in one or more of the following:

1.    Microsoft Access

2.    Oracle

3.    VB. Net

Work Hours:

A 40 hour work week is scheduled utilizing a 4/10s (4 days at 10 hours per day) or 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B) work schedule.  Work week excludes SRNS holidays.  Each work day has a 30-minute unpaid lunch.  A variable work schedule including extended hours may be required to meet business needs.
