DUTIES:
Provide Chemical Material Handling staff augmentation support to SRNS. Primary duties include the following:
· Prepare liquid non-hazardous waste for disposal by solidifying using approved absorbents.
· Load waste containers per directions.
· Lift, carry, remove material at jobsite up to 50 pounds.
· Maintain data and update computer records
· Attend classroom, on-the-job, and other types of training as deemed necessary by line management.
· Maintain good housekeeping within assigned work areas.
· Work in a safe manner, notifying supervision of any unsafe conditions/acts or damage to government/company equipment and property.
· Perform other general or discipline-specific duties assigned by management.
Services shall be provided using SRNS processes and procedures. Work is performed from approved standard or special procedures, manuals, training, verbal turnover, and management direction. Programmatic guidance will be provided by SRNS.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High School Degree is required
Experience /Skills:
Candidate must demonstrate use of computers including functions and use of software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Filemaker Pro preferred) Candidate should have knowledge of Chemical Safety.
Work Hours:
A 40 hour work week is scheduled. SRNS utilizes various work schedules; including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four days per week), and 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B). Work week excludes SRNS holidays. Each work day has a 30-minute lunch.
Area Security Access:
A security clearance is not initially required; however, candidate must be capable of obtaining an L or Q clearance if required to perform assigned duties.
