 Provide FMTS Oracle Application support

 Processing of Computer Modification requests for Software/Database changes.

 Assembling of routine reports, querying of business system databases for ad hoc data requests, and reporting requirements to various agency and management.

 Providing leadership in development and updating of existing reports applications.

 Providing technical writing, editing and reviews of software documentation.

 Troubleshooting of software installation problems, label printing, barcode scanning, PC hardware and software.

Education/

B.S. Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or eight years work experience in Computer Programming and Database Development and Management.

Experience/

Candidate without a BS Degree in Computer Science/Engineering must demonstrate eight years technical experience in computer programming and database development and management.  This work experience is preferred for candidates with a BS Degree.  Experience in technical writing and editing of complex technical information for both a technical audience and the public is preferred.  Experience with Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, and Lotus Notes is also preferred.  Microsoft Certification is desirable for the candidate.

A 40-48 hour work week is scheduled.  SRS utilizes various work schedules; including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four days per week), and a 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B).  Shift work is probable. Work week normally excludes SRNS holidays.  Each work day has a 30-minute lunch.
