Journeyman level positions with limited supervision; typical assignments include, but are not limited to, executing procurements for staff augmentation positions, subcontracts to provide specifically defined services, orders for construction equipment, and may include procurement or more complex engineered equipment and fabricated goods.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or Engineering preferred, or equivalent work experience, CPM certificate a plus.
Experience/Skills:
5 + years experience in procurement with or 13 years experience if no degree; at least 2 years of Federal government-related procurement experience; skilled in computer usage and procurement systems; knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations and Department of Energy Acquisition Regulations; familiarity with best value purchasing and Federal Travel Regulations; experience with Federal government socioeconomic programs (i.e., 8A, Hubzone); prior procurement experience with a DOE M&O Contractor is preferred.
Work Hours:
A 40 hour work week is scheduled. SRNS utilizes various work schedules; including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four days per week), and a 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B). Work week normally excludes WSRC holidays. Each work day has a 30-minute lunch.
